He is an UNODC Expert on Restorative Justice;a British Chevening Scholar of Criminology; and was a Professor of Criminology and Head of Department at the Federal University Wukari Taraba State,Nigeria.He currently teaches Criminology at the School of Law and Criminology, University of Derby, UK.

Denese Clarke is a Legal Practitioner who studied Law at London University and post-graduate studies in Legal Practice at DeMontfort University. She is also a Restorative Justice Practitioner for Restorative Justice Initiative Midlands UK. She is the recipient of Leicestershire Black Police Association for Service Excellence for her work in Restorative Justice.
